How do I round corners in Illustrator?

In Illustrator, you can round corners by using the Corner Round Tool or the Rounded Rectangle Tool.

The Corner Round Tool allows you to round all four corners of a selected object.

Double click the corner of the element so the Illustrator corner round tool will appear

The Rounded Rectangle Tool allows you to round only the corners of a selected object.

PRO TIP: When rounding corners in Illustrator, it is important to note that the corner will only be as rounded as the anchor point that you have selected. If you want to create a perfect circle, make sure that your anchor point is in the very center of the object.

When using the Corner Round Tool, be sure to click and drag the mouse pointer around the circumference of the desired corner.
