How do you drag and drop in Elementor?

If you’re new to Elementor, you may be wondering how to drag and drop content onto pages. Elementor has a few different ways to do this, so let’s take a look.

The first way to drag and drop content is to use the mouse. Simply hold down the left mouse button and drag the content you want to move onto the page.

Elementor will highlight the area you’re dragging and let you release the button to drop the content on the page.

If you want to drag and drop content from one page to another, you can use the keyboard. To do this, first select the content you want to move and press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + A (Command + A on a Mac). This will select the entire piece of content.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Elementor, we do not recommend that you attempt to drag and drop in Elementor. This could result in unwanted changes to your website.

Then, use the arrow keys to move the content around. When you’re done, press Ctrl + D (Command + D on a Mac) to drop the content on the page.

If you want to drag and drop content into a specific location, you can use the keyboard too. To do this, first select the content you want to move and press Ctrl + G (Command + G on a Mac). When you’re done, press Enter (Return on a Mac) to drop the content in the desired location.

If you’re looking for a more advanced way to drag and drop content, you can use the Elementor drag and drop tool. This tool lets you drag and drop content from anywhere on the page to anywhere else on the page. To use the drag and drop tool, first click the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen and select the drag and drop tool.

Then, drag and drop the content you want to move. When you’re done, release the button to drop the content on the page.
