How Do You Focus on a Frame in Figma?

Last updated on September 29, 2022 @ 12:29 am

In Figma, you can use the Frame tool to draw shapes around objects. To focus on a frame, select the frame and then click the Focus button in the upper-right corner of the workspace.

PRO TIP: If you are working on a frame in Figma, be sure to focus on it before making any changes. Otherwise, you may accidentally change something in another frame that you didn’t mean to.

When you focus on a frame, the selected frame is highlighted in blue and all other objects are dimmed. This allows you to more easily work with the selected frame. You can also use the focus feature to hide all other objects when you’re exporting an image of the selected frame.

To exit focus mode, click the Focus button again or select another object.
