How do you reset the eraser tool in Illustrator?

Illustrator is a powerful vector graphic editor with a built-in eraser tool. Here’s how to reset the eraser tool:

1. Click the eraser tool icon in the Tools panel.

2. Click and hold the tool’s left mouse button down, and drag the tool’s pointer to the area you want to erase.

3. Release the left mouse button when you’ve selected the area you want to erase.

4. Click the Eraser tool button ( ).

5. To reset the tool to its default settings, click the Reset tool button ( ).

PRO TIP: If you are having trouble resetting the eraser tool in Illustrator, it is probably because you are using an older version of the software. In order to reset the eraser tool, you will need to first select the “Edit” menu, then choose “Preferences.” After that, select “Eraser Tool” from the list of options. Finally, click on the “Reset” button.
