Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 1:41 pm

Adding Facebook Pixel to Shopify is a simple process that can be completed in just a few steps. First, you’ll need to create a Facebook Pixel.

To do this, log into your Facebook account and go to the Pixels tab in the Events Manager. Click Create a Pixel, and then give your pixel a name and choose your time zone.

Once you’ve created your pixel, you’ll need to add it to your Shopify store. To do this, log into your Shopify account and go to Online Store > Preferences.

Under the “Order Processing” section, scroll down to the “Additional scripts” text box and paste your pixel code into it. Save your changes, and you’re done!

PRO TIP: Adding Facebook Pixel to your Shopify store without proper understanding can cause tracking issues for your store. Make sure you know what you’re doing before proceeding.

Now that your Facebook Pixel is set up, you can start tracking events on your Shopify store. To do this, simply create an event in the Events Manager and then add the appropriate code to your store’s theme. For example, if you want to track when someone makes a purchase on your store, you would add the following code to the “Thank You” page:

You can also track events such as add to cart, initiate checkout, and contact us form submission by adding the appropriate code to those pages on your store. For more information on tracking events with Facebook Pixel, check out their documentation (https://developers.facebook.com/docs/analytics/pixel-events/v2.9).

Adding Facebook Pixel to Shopify is a quick and easy process that can help you track important events on your store. By adding just a few lines of code to your theme, you can start tracking events such as purchases, add to carts, and form submissions. This data can be used to better understand your customers and make more informed marketing decisions.
