Animated images can be created in Illustrator by converting JPEG files into SVG files. The process is relatively simple and can be done with a few clicks.

First, open the JPEG file in Illustrator and select the “Save As” option. In the “Save As” dialog box, select the “SVG” option and click Save.

PRO TIP: If you are using Adobe Illustrator to convert a JPEG to an SVG, please be aware that there may be some loss in quality. Additionally, please note that some features may not be available when converting from JPEG to SVG.

Next, open the “SVG” file in Illustrator and select the “Create New Document” option. In the “New Document” dialog box, enter the desired dimensions for the SVG file and click OK.

Finally, use the tools in Illustrator to create the desired animation. For example, you can use the “Path” tool to create curves and the “Grow” and “Shrink” tools to create animations.
