How Do I Import Raw Files Into Photoshop?

There are many ways to import raw files into Photoshop. One way is to use the “Open” command under the “File” menu. Another way is to use the “Import” command under the “File” menu.

When you use the “Open” command, you will be able to select any type of file that Photoshop can open. This includes raw files from many different cameras. Once you select a raw file, Photoshop will automatically open it in the Camera Raw dialog box.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, importing raw files into Photoshop can cause problems with your image files. Make sure that you understand the file format of your raw files before you attempt to import them into Photoshop.

If you use the “Import” command, you will be able to select any type of file that Photoshop can import.

The Camera Raw dialog box is where you can make all sorts of adjustments to your raw files. You can change the white balance, exposure, contrast, and more. Once you’re done making adjustments, you can click the “OK” button to close the dialog box and return to Photoshop.

Your raw file will now be open in Photoshop and ready for further editing.
