As you work with anchor points in Photoshop, you’ll probably find yourself wanting to move them around quite a bit. Here’s a quick guide on how to do just that:

First, make sure that the layer you want to edit is selected in the Layers panel. Then, select the Direct Selection Tool from the Tools panel.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that moving anchor points in Photoshop can be a delicate process. If you are not careful, you could end up ruining your image.

With the Direct Selection Tool selected, click on the anchor point you want to move. You’ll see that the anchor point is now surrounded by a small circle.

Click and drag the anchor point to wherever you want it to go. As you drag, you’ll see a line connecting the anchor point to its original location. When you release the mouse button, the anchor point will be in its new location.

Conclusion: Moving anchor points around is a pretty simple process in Photoshop. Just remember to select the Direct Selection Tool and then click and drag the anchor point to its new location.
