How Do I Password Protect a Project in Squarespace?

There are a few different ways to password protect a project in Squarespace. One way is to create a custom URL for your project.

You can do this by going to the Settings tab of your project, and then selecting the Custom URL option. Once you’ve entered your custom URL, you can click the Save button.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that password protecting a project in Squarespace is only available for certain subscription levels. If you do not have a paid subscription, your project will not be password protected.

Another way to password protect a project in Squarespace is to use the Password Protection feature. To do this, go to the Settings tab of your project, and then select the Password Protection option. Enter a password, and then click the Save button.

You can also password protect a project by creating a page in Squarespace. To do this, go to the Pages tab of your project, and then click the + Add Page button.

Select the Password Protected Page template, and then enter a password. Click the Save button to save your changes.
